EA Play E3 2019 press conference: watch it here

Electronic Arts begins its E3 2019 in Los Angeles with a livestream broadcast of EA Play on Saturday, June 8 at 9:30 a.m. PDT/12:30 p.m. EDT. You can watch it all live right here.

In terms of major announcements today, this may not be like past E3s where the publisher rolls out a big surprise or sheds a lot more light on something that’s only gotten a mention so far. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order already had a coming-out party at Star Wars Celebration back in April, which included naming the hero, showing off the game’s cast, and detailing its story.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will lead off the broadcast, and is followed by a 30-minute segment for Apex Legends in which Respawn Entertainment will talk about the second season of its battle royale. Battlefield 5 also gets a post-release content discussion after that. BioWare’s Anthem is conspicuously absent from the schedule; even though it launched in February the open-world loot-shooter is still polishing, balancing, and fixing the base game, delaying its first major content drop.

At 11 a.m./2 p.m. is an hourlong EA Sports block focusing on the marquee FIFA and Madden NFL franchises. We’ve already heard FIFA 20’s big plans for September — a new mode called Volta Football. The Sims 4 closes out the show. The stream is embedded above; fans can also pick it up through through EA.com, or its YouTube and Twitch channels.
