When the power went out at E3, Nintendo was prepared

On Wednesday, the power briefly went out at the Los Angeles Convention Center, sending E3 2019 into a brief moment of darkness. While the outage only lasted a few minutes, television monitors and internet routers went down, an obvious snag for the video game expo. But Nintendo was prepared in a delightful way when that interruption knocked its Treehouse Live stream offline for a few minutes.

Error, the villager from Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, picked up the slack and did his duty as a referential technical difficulties screen. It was a nice touch, and we’re glad Error’s still getting work.
