With the release of Sony‘s PlayStation 5 just around the corner, YouTube channel TronicsFix has decided to give fans of the console a closer — and inside — look of the new DualSense controller, which has no doubt been one of the highlights of the new system with its haptic feedback.
Over the course of a 12-minute video, the channel gives an overview of the controller before taking it apart component by component, offering an in-depth look at its construction. Roughly around the nine-minute mark, he starts explaining how the much-anticipated haptics work as well, revealing triggers that react to various gears inside the controller itself. Comparing it to the previous DualShock 4 controller from the PlayStation 4, it’s clear a lot more work and thought has been put into the next-gen controller, translating to an enhanced gameplay experience.
Check out the full video above while you wait for the PlayStation 5’s release on November 12.
Elsewhere in gaming, Amazon is celebrating the 35th anniversary of Super Mario Bros. with limited edition delivery boxes.
