You can get one of the best games available on PS4 for free right now

Every month, PlayStation gives players the opportunity to download two full PS4 games totally for free – as long as they're subscribed to PlayStation Plus.

This month, the offering on the service is great – as you'd hope it would be on the run up to Christmas.

Titanfall 2 and Monster Energy Supercross are be available to anyone with an active PS Plus subscription, and as you can see on our ' Are they any good? ' page, both titles are worth adding to your account as soon as possible.

On a personal level, we can't recommend Titanfall 2 more, though.

It's a game from the same studio that's currently working on Apex Legends – so you know it's got a lot of development pedigree – and the short-but-sweet campaign is one of the best we've seen in gaming in the past decade.

Here's the Metacritic (score: 89) summary of the game:

"In single player, Titanfall 2 delivers a crafted experience that explores the unique bond between man and machine. Playable offline, the single player campaign in Titanfall 2 lets fans step out onto The Frontier as a Militia rifleman with aspirations of becoming an elite Pilot.

"Stranded behind enemy lines and facing overwhelming odds, players must team up with a veteran Titan to uphold a mission they were never meant to carry out. In multiplayer, Respawn is continuing to evolve their gameplay to provide a more robust experience that delivers expanded depth and variety that includes six new Titans, deeper Pilot abilities, more customization options, and a robust progression system that is sure to satisfy fans."

Whether you want to engage in some hectic and unique multiplayer, or take part in the pacey and experimental story mode, Titanall 2 has something for you.

The multiplayer mode has sprung back into life since the game was added to PSN, too, meaning the whole thing feels like it did back at launch all over again.

Titanfall 2 is considered by developers, journalists and the public alike to be one of the very best FPS experiences you can get on PS4, and if you have a PS Plus subscription, you owe it to yourself to at least try Respawn's magnum opus out.

We promise it'll be worth your time.
