Xbox Games with Gold February 2020 latest and great news for subscribers

Xbox Games with Gold subscribers, it's not long now until Major Nelson brings you the news you're probably waiting for.

Another selection of free Xbox One and Xbox 360 Games are coming soon and you'll be able to download them for nothing as part of your existing Xbox Live subscription.

We assume those reading this have a Xbox Live subscription, after all, it's fairly essential if you want to play games online with your friends.

Personally we think January's selection of games was pretty top notch (more on them further down) but as with any month, Xbox fans will be hoping for some more great games.

Not just for bragging rights against Sony's own PlayStation Plus subscription, but equally so you can add some superb new titles to your existing library.

Just because the first paycheck of 2020 is coming soon, doesn't mean you'll be flush with cash, so the more freebies you can get, the better we think.

As with any month, Xbox don't signpost when they announced their free games selection. Although it does appear as though the Microsoft team have been generally waiting until the end of each month in recent months to announce.

It used to be that Microsoft's Major Nelson, the Director of Programming for Xbox Live, would unveil the new games on or around the 20th of the month.

But now, it's more likely we'll learn closer to the very end of January.

For example, the May 2019 Games with Gold lineup was revealed on April 29. The June Games with Gold reveal took place on May 30. Likewise, July's lineup arrived on June 29 and August's games were revealed on July 29th. As for September, that was confirmed on August 30th. And yes, the October and November lineups were also unveiled on the 26th and 30th.

  • WhatsApp will stop working on millions of iPhones and Android smartphones next week

Regardless of how late Xbox leave it, there are only six days left in the month, so it won't be long before we learn what games are available throughout January.

However, ahead of the big announcements, there's an excellent Xbox Live deal you can grab right now if your subscription is running low or set to lapse shortly.

So if you're sub is about to lapse, now might be a perfect time to head over to CD Keys , who are selling a 12 month Xbox Live Gold subscription for £37.99.

That's a 24% discount on the standard price of an Xbox Live 12 month subscription, which would normally cost £49.99.

If you've never used CD Keys before, it's rather straightforward. More so than you might realise.

After purchasing the annual subscription, the online retailer will send you a confirmation email with a download link.

All you need to do is verify your phone number, you will be sent a pin, which can then be used to access your code. Easy.

Plus, think of all the things you could buy with the money you saved.
