Wrench Shows Up In Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline Teaser, Full Trailer Confirmed For Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft dropped a new teaser for Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline DLC, slated for early July release. Fan-favorite Wrench showed up in a short video, while a full Bloodline Story trailer already confirmed by the devs for the Ubisoft Forward event.

Watch Dogs 2’s Wrench with his iconic mask is one of the most beloved characters in the whole series, so no wonder Ubisoft has decided to bring this hacker back to London for Legion. It is unknown what circumstances will draw Wrench from San Francisco to Europe, but DedSec hackers have to look out for each other, right?

Official Watch Dogs Twitter account has released a brief video featuring Wrench. The inscription says “Is he gonna do it?!?” while Wrench is just fooling around with a big hammer, threatening to smash some kind of what appears to be valuable item. The viewers didn’t get the answer this time, though.

Fans were glad to see Wrench returning, but some viewers have questions. For instance, Twitter user @Silent6649 “was honestly surprised the character’s personality hasn’t changed after so many years,” and it’s hard to disagree. Watch Dogs 2’s events were set in 2016, while Legion leaps forward to 2030. Perhaps the devs will have all the explanations soon enough.

Watch Dogs: Legion Bloodline expansion is part of the game’s Season Pass. The story will include not only Wrench returning as a playable character but older Aiden Pearce, too. Earlier Ubisoft has shared Bloodline opening with Pearce taking a mysterious corporate espionage job from Jordi Chin.

Watch Dogs: Legion has recently received Title Update 4.5, adding 60 fps performance mode on Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 that many fans have been looking forward to. In addition, the update marks the arrival of Watch Dogs: Legion of the Dead alpha on PC, bringing zombies to dystopian London.

To learn more about the Watch Dogs future, tune in at 12 PM PST on June 12 for Ubisoft Forward. Apart from Bloodline Story trailer, there will be plenty of other games, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Rainbow Six Extraction, For Honor, and more. The presentation will be featuring American sign language and subtitles in 12 different languages to make the event more accessible to a wide range of viewers.
