For those not in the know, Wordle is a hugely popular online word game that has taken the world by storm this past year.

Each day the Wordle website is updated with a new five letter word that players have six guesses to figure out.

Answers are inputted into a tiled grid and there are a few pointers which help Wordle players get to the answer.

If the letter they entered is not found in the word a tile will appear grey, if it is in the word but not in the correct position it will turn yellow, while if the letter is in the word and in the correct position the tile will go green.

This colour system helps Wordle players share on social media how they figured out the answer without giving any spoilers away.

If someone posts one row that’s all in green it shows they managed to figure out the Wordle answer in one go. What a clever clogs!
