Welcome back to yet another work week. I don’t know about you, but when I’ve got my nose to the grindstone, I tend to get behind on everything that’s been going on in the wider world of gaming. Supposing that sounds a little bit like you, don’t worry because we’ve got you covered. Today, we heard about a leak for Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, character balancing in MultiVersus, and a brand new League of Legends champion. There’s more where this came from, so read on for the rest.
Stripe And Black Adam Are Coming To MultiVersus
Stripe and Black Adam have been confirmed as coming to MultiVersus. “What's better than officially kicking off MultiVersus Season 1? Announcing Black Adam and Stripe are also coming this season,” the developer behind the game, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, said on the official Twitter account. “You're welcome.” I never saw this one coming, so I couldn’t possibly have said thanks, but now that we’re on the topic, thanks.
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Leak Reveals Information About New 'Mons
Tons of information about the Pokemon in the upcoming Pokemon Scarlet & Violet has just been leaked. We know that at least 105 brand new Pokemon will be in the game, but we also found out that hardly any of them will have a three-stage evolutionary line. “Excluding the starters, there are only five new three-stage lines,” Centro Leaks noted on Twitter. “By far, this generation has the biggest number of one-stage Pokemon lines.” Win some, lose some, I guess.
MultiVersus Season 1 Buffs Arya And Nerfs Bugs Bunny
The latest update to MultiVersus massively buffs Arya and nerfs Bugs Bunny. According to the patch notes, “the goal of these changes was to make Arya’s combos be more consistent and successful at lower skill levels.” When it comes to Bugs Bunny, the patch notes point out that “Bugs Bunny is a bit too safe in everything he does. We’ve given him some additional whiff punish windows to help address this.” Sometimes it really pays off to read the developer documentation.
League Of Legends Unveils New Champion K'Sante
The next champion for League of Legends will be a character called K’Sante. This hunter leads the Nazumah people in their fight against roaming monsters. The new hero's weapon, Ntofos, is made from one of these monsters and can shed its clumsy looking exterior to reveal a set of razor sharp blades. Players will be able to take the champion into battle at some point later this year.
New Lord Of The Rings Game By Olli Olli World And Kerbal Space Program Publisher Announced
The publisher behind Olli Olli World, Private Division, recently announced an upcoming game set in the Lord of the Rings universe. The company also produced one of my personal favorites, Kerbal Space Program. Private Division has apparently partnered with Weta Workshop which provided some of the animation for the movies by Peter Jackson. "We are thrilled to partner with Weta Workshop to publish a game set in such an extraordinary and celebrated universe," Michael Worosz from Private Division said. "The Lord of the Rings IP is home to so many remarkable stories and no entity is better equipped than the team at Weta Workshop to create a distinctive, new Middle-Earth gaming experience.”
