Grand Theft Auto Online's yearly Halloween event is still nowhere to be seen, and we're only one day out from the spooky day itself.
Yesterday, though, we saw Rockstar push out an update for Red Dead Redemption 2 that introduced a limited time Halloween event to the title, as well as more spooky updates to the game.
So at least we know Rockstar is still interested in giving its online services a decent set of seasonal events.
We don't see why Rockstar would stop the event in 2019. After all, for the last four years Halloween Surprise has run like clockwork in October.
It's not too late for the event to go live in GTA 5 . Rockstar tends to come to the spooky events a bit later, and lets them run until two weeks into November.
If the event does go live, you can likely the usual weekly bonuses and discounts, but all dressed up with a spooky flavour to suit the mood.
"It's Halloween in Los Santos, which means it's time to terrorize the neighborhood while reaping the benefits of a litany of bloodcurdling bonuses and deadly discounts," reads the event description from last year.
Free T-shirt cosmetic items and discounted masks, vehicles, and properties are fair game for the event usually, and we may even see a new PvP event take place in-game, too (following what Red Dead Online did this year).
Expect more updates soon.
