Fortnite down reports are coming in at the moment with Battle Royale users being hit with connection problems.
Independent outage monitor Down Detector has received a spike of Fortnite down reports today.
Out of those affected some 56 per cent are experiencing server connection issues while 41 per cent are having trouble logging in.
And according to the Down Detector outage map Fortnite players who have been affected today are mainly based in the UK, Europe and US.
The issues, however, do not appear to be with Fortnite itself – with the Fortnite down reports coinciding with a major Xbox Live outage.
Fortnite users took to social networking site to report problems today.
One fan tweeted: “I didn’t ask for my xbox servers to be down right now.”
Another posted: “@FortniteGame I’m having an error I cannot sign in in fortnite on xbox”
One added: “@XboxSupport it won’t let me play fortnite it’s saying unable to sign in to xbox live”.

The Fortnite down reports coincided with a major Xbox Live outage which affected gamers around the world.
Down Detector saw a huge spike of Xbox Live down reports with the Xbox Support Twitter acknowledging the issues.
They tweeted: “If you’re having trouble signing into your Xbox account on multiple devices, our teams are investigating now!
“We’ll update here & on the Status page: Xbox.com/status when we have more info to share.”
