Fortnite 14 Days of Summer event release date, start time, leaked challenges, LTM schedule

Fortnite fans are counting down to the start of the 14 Days of Summer event.

After weeks of leaks and speculation, Epic Games has finally confirmed that the Fortnite 14 Days of Summer event has a June 25 release date.

There’s no official start time for 14 Days of Summer, but if it follows the typical Fortnite update schedule, then expect it to go live between midday and 2pm BST.

The news was confirmed by Epic Games, alongside confirmation about what fans can expect from the event.

“Heya folks, it’s time to soak up some rays during Fortnite’s 14 Days of Summer,” reads an Epic post. “Each day, drop into Fortnite for something new.”

This is said to include a new LTM to play for each day of the event, not to mention a host of daily challenges and free rewards.

New items and skins will be available from the in-game shop, but perhaps most exciting of all is Epic’s plan to unvault a weapon every day.

The only drawback is that these weapons will only be available for 24-hours before returning to the vault.

Daily limited time events (LTMs) include Heavy Metal Squads, Tank Battle Squads and Wick’s Bounty.
