A new season of Football Managed is finally here. Time to wave goodbye to your loved ones as your skills within the digital dugout will be required elsewhere once the game goes live.
The release date for the game on Steam (PC) and mobile is November 19, 2019. So there's not long to wait.
However, die-hard fans will no doubt be keen to start playing as soon as humanly possible.
But when does Football Manager 2020 release on Steam and/or Mobile?
Looking online there are no details on precisely when the Steam version of the game will be available.
It's currently available to pre-load on PC (due to the PC Beta already being available), which would suggest that the game will unlock on Steam as soon as the clocks strike midnight (GMT +0? British time).
However, if you're one of those who pre-ordered the mobile version of the game, you might have to wait a little while longer.
According to the good folk over at Football Manager's sub-reddit, the mobile version of the game unlocks at some point during the day and "never at midnight"
Daily Star writer Lloyd Coombes was the man who ploughed all his free time into the review of the game – and gave it 5 stars no less.
Speaking about the game in our five-star review, we said:
"Football Manager is back and its focus on long-term construction of a footballing powerhouse is refreshing for a series that previously felt solely focused on the short-to-mid term. The only challenge you'll have now is keeping in the board's good graces long enough to leave your imprint on a club."
