A bizarre glitch in the FIFA 23 beta has allowed fans to play the entire game early, revealing FUT stats, new kits, and even the soundtrack.
The problem with betas is that never last very long, and you’re always left wanting more, but that’s exactly what some lucky FIFA fans got when the entirety of FIFA 23 unlocked a month before it was supposed to. It didn’t last long but during that time all manner of secrets were revealed.
The access was only granted to those that had both played the beta and pre-loaded the Ultimate Edition of the game, so a relatively small percentage but still likely to be in the hundreds.
It only lasted for an hour or so but while some just took advantage of the mistake by playing more of the game others started noting down player stats from FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT), in order to get a head start in the new season.
Most embarrassing for EA is that several new kits were also revealed before they should’ve been, including some that clubs have not announced yet for real, including Liverpool’s third kit and Burnley’s new away and third kit.
There’s even a glimpse at the new soundtrack, which includes everyone from Gorillaz to Crooked Colours.
