Earlier this week, Bethesda announced that a new trailer for Doom Eternal would be coming today – January 14th, 2020.
This new trailer shows off some more of the single-player campaign gameplay that we can expect to see in the game when it launches on March 20.
The new trailer details some new enemies, some new locations that you'll have to battle through, and hints at what's to come in the story, too.
New levels, aside from the previously-revealed ruins of Earth, have been shown off – and it looks like we can look forward, once again, to battling the demonic forces of hell on their home turf.
We already know that there will be twice as many enemy types in the latest entry into the long-running series as there were in 2016's reboot, DOOM.
We also know that the game is estimated to be roughly twice the size of the 2016 megahit, too.
The gameplay has been changed up thanks to the addition of an 'Equipment Launcher' that can lob ice grenades, frag grenades and more to boot, and id has also added more 'Glroy Kill' executions to make sure your brutal ballet flows smoothly.
Wall-climbing, dashes and double jumps round out the suite of exploration skills you have, too.

The game will be available on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Google Stadia on March 2020 (though the Switch version will come a little later than other platforms).
DOOM Eternal will be the first game to show off what the id Tech 7 engine can do, and we've recently had the chanvce to get our hands on the game.
We'll have our impressions written up and published soon – so be sure to check back in the coming weeks to get the Daily Star take on 2020's most brutal FPS.
