Don’t Flush the Dream Yet: Fall Guys’ Next Costume Could Still be from a Bidet Company

Fall Guys hosted a bidding war on Twitter to see which company’s brand would get a new costume, and for a time the winning bid was a bidet.

There’s a lot of interest in Fall Guys, both from gamers and from multinational corporations. Gamers see Fall Guys as a great way to kill some time trying to jump a jelly bean into a crown. Corporations see those faceless jelly beans (and the millions of people playing them) as waddling billboards just waiting to be created.

Fall Guys developer Mediatonic has already got a few unsolicited suggestions from the likes of Walmart, KFC, and Konami. So rather than pick their favorite, they’ve decided to turn solicitations into a charity auction.

The rules are simple: reply to this tweet with however much you’re willing to donate to Special Effect, a UK-based charity aimed at helping gamers with disabilities. Whoever has the highest bid at the end of two weeks wins and will get their costume added to the game.

As expected, the bidding was fast and fierce. Bids quickly left the triple and even quadruple-digit territory and broke the five-digit mark with competing $10,000 bids from indie brawler Rivals of Aether and independent Seattle-based gamer store Pink Gorilla.

After that, Minecraft server hosting service BisectHosting came in with a $19,410 bid for either a Minecraft Creeper or Steve costume. Then Warframe developer Digital Extremes suggested this Lotus costume for a cool $20,000.

And then Fall Guys got their first non-gamer brand bid. TUSHY is a brand of bidet that attaches to most standard toilet bowls in North America. Press the button and you get a squirt of cool water aimed squarely at your most disgusting of orifices for that freshly-showered feeling every time you flush.

TUSHY bid $40,000.01 for the imaginative costume that asked other players about their buttholes.

“Oh god no,” wrote Mediatonic in their official confirmation of TUSHY’s top bid. “Help us lol.”

Lucky for Mediatonic, there were plenty of other brands willing to throw a lot of money to unseat Tushy. BisectHosting came back with a $50,000 bid, and then MrBeast broke the $100,000 barrier. So far, G2 Esports is the winning bid at $130,000, but we’ve got quite a ways to go before a winner is crowned in this auction.

Of course, TUSHY could always come back with a higher bid, so Mediatonic isn’t out of the toilet bowl yet.
