Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Launches With Xbox Series X On November 10 At 4K/60fps

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X launch title. It’s releasing on November 10 for Microsoft’s next-gen machines, as well as PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Watch Dogs Legion, which releases on current-gen on October 29, will also be on Xbox Series X and S at launch.

“We are excited to announce that players will be able to discover Assassin’s Creed Valhalla sooner than expected!! Julien Laferrière, producer on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, said. “We cannot wait to see the world we’ve been creating over the past three years coming to life on all platforms, including on the next generation of consoles with the Xbox Series X [and] S on 10th November.”

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla for Xbox Series X and S will feature enhanced graphics, and the Xbox Series X version will run at 4K, 60fps.

Meanwhile, Watch Dogs Legion will take advantage of ray tracing on Xbox Series X. You’ll be able to see reflections in puddles, in the glass on buildings, and those near-future holograms will pop more than what’s possible on older machines.

Both titles will feature higher resolution textures, more clutter density, improved shadow quality, and faster load times. Using Smart Delivery, you’ll be able to pick up your progress on the new platforms if you start your adventure on current-gen.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion both arrive on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S at launch, November 10.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla follows the story of Eivor, a Viking who’s trying to make a new home for his clan in the verdant hills of England. You can explore England in its entirety while making choices that will shape the outcome of the story. You can play as a male or female Eivor, and you can swap between them at any time.
