Anthem Update 1.30 Patch Notes: Anthem Cataclysm Event Is Live on PS4, Xbox and PC

Anthem Update 1.30 Patch Notes have just been released for the game and it weighs in at a hefty 12GB on PS4 and Xbox One but 15GB on PC.

The official Anthem Reddit Page has also confirmed the games latest patch notes (found below) and it finally adds the long talked about Cataclysm event to the game.

Bioware’s Cataclysm event was intended to release two months back, but delays prompted the studio to push back the planned release date for further testing on the games PTR Server on PC.

Bioware describes the Cataclysm as “a season-long event with new enemies to fight, mysteries to uncover, and power to be gained.”

So essentially it’s intended as endgame content, but early reactions have not been great.

Even as recently as today there’s been Reddit threads such as “If you think cataclysm will save the game, i have bad news”

Given that this is meant as a major update for the game, it’s somewhat strange that it’s dropped out of thin air.

Exactly what EA and Bioware are planning to do with the game long term is anyone’s guess, but for now jump back into the game and see what Bioware have been working on.

Especially since it could well be the last significant update to the game.
