Twitch is expanding the marketing opportunity for its owned content properties beyond the competitive Twitch Rivals space. Through the previously launched /twitchgaming channel, the platform will offer partnership opportunities on non-competition content such as event simulcasts, game launches, and a talk show-style segment known as The Weekly.
Twitch has already lined up two new partners for the program in Chipotle and Ally. Chipotle will have category exclusivity in the channel and sponsor a special segment of The Weekly in which creators build their own custom PCs. Ally will similarly receive category exclusivity as the official financial services partner of /twitchgaming and serve as the presenting partner of a limited-run series for underrepresented groups in the games industry called Game Changers.
