NRG have made an addition to their VALORANT lineup with the signing of Ryan “Shanks” Ngo. The young Canadian recently played alongside the Dignitas and Immortals lineups where he apparently impressed enough to earn a full-time shot on the NRG roster. He’s earned a total of $2,720 during his time in VALORANT thus far.
He steps in to one of the spots left vacant by the benching of Yannick “KOLER” Blanchette and departure of Loic “effys” Sauvageau. Shanks joins Sam “s0m” Oh, Damian “daps” Steele, and Daniel “eeiu” Vucenovic as the current 4-man lineup with the fifth still undecided as of this post.
Chet “Chet” Singh currently coaches the team having worked with daps in the past in Counter-Strike. Since making the swap and attempting to make strides in VALORANT the NRG team has struggled to make any notable placements. They most recently failed to qualify for the First Strike event after being swept by FaZe, finishing 9th-12th.
