Dota 2: Elephant.4AM Will Make Its Debut Soon

Elephant.4AM is making their debut soon in China’s next big tournament.

China has been a pretty interesting region in the last couple of months. We’ve seen a lot of tournaments, some of which were pretty interesting to watch. Having said that, there is another event on the horizon, which is CDA-FDC Professional Championship.

It will take place between October 22 and November 1 and bring together the best eight teams in the region. Apart from the usual powerhouses such as Vici Gaming, we’ll also see the newest Chinese powerhouse named Elephant.4AM.

The event

The CDA-FDC Professional Championship will have a prize pool of $90K USD, which is pretty good compared to many other events. Because of this, every top team in the region will try to compete in it, meaning it will be really interesting to watch.

One of the most anticipated matchups will be between Elephant.4AM and PSG.LGD. As you may know, one of E4AM’s superstars Lu “Maybe” Yao will go up against his former team here. LGD is in excellent shape right now, so we expect to see an epic battle. Unfortunately, both of these teams are placed in different groups, which means that the soonest they can meet is in the playoffs.

Six of the teams received a direct invitation, whereas the others made their way via the qualifiers. The Group Stage will last two days and will see a round-robin format, where each series is in a Bo3 format. The teams that finish first in each group will advance to the Upper Bracket semifinals. On the other hand, those that finish third will start the playoffs from Round One.

Similar to many other tournaments, the last teams from each group will be eliminated from the event. If you need more information, make sure to stay tuned to ESTNN!
