Brazilian Country Manager Leaving Riot Games

Roberto Iervolino is leaving the command of Riot Games in Brazil after serving seven years in the position of country manager of Brazil, according to a report from ESPN Esports Brasil.  Personal reasons were cited by ESPN Esports Brazil as the reason for this decision.

The news comes while Riot is in the process of changing the structure of the Brazilian League of Legends Championship (CBLoL) to a franchise model. Iervolino was in charge of the company in Brazil while the tournament grew to be the most-watched esports competition in the country.

Riot told ESPN Esports Brazil that Iervolino will continue in the company for the following months supporting the process of changing to new management.
